Abstract
Supply chain management encompasses and integrates the key processes from the manufacturer to the end user, while value, a product, or a service is being created. The management and development of the supply chain are primarily focused on customers. In order to develop a suitable and sustainable customer-centric system, it is necessary to constantly monitor the changes in demand from the customer’s side. In addition, it is important, from the point of view of the company’s efficiency, to increase the value-giving processes to reveal the wastes and possible losses of the system, for which there are many Lean tools available. In particular, three Lean tools will be presented, they are used to assess processes, identify and eliminate losses, and prepare analyses.
