Abstract
In the competitive sphere, innovative activities aim to develop and acquire such competitive advantages, which support the capital reproduction in a complex operating environment. In the course of development decisions, the efficient usage of the available resources are promoted. The focus is on improving efficiency, affecting any special resource too. It is often the case that initially innovative companies focus on acquiring external innovative knowledge rather than internal sources of innovation during their growth. Behind these decisions, basically, efficiency dimensions are hiding. In this study, we analyse the practices of the Amazon, with particular regard to corporate acquisitions.
