Author Biography

Dávid Szőke, University of Szeged

Szőke, Dávid received his PhD in 2021 from the Doctoral School of Literature and Cultural Studies, University of Szeged, where his research was a comparative study of German exile literature and Iris Murdoch’s novels. His research projects have been awarded the New National Excellence Program Scholarship twice. In 2022-2023, within the framework of National Eötvös Scholarship, he conducted five months of research at the Antigypsy Research Institute of the University of Heidelberg. His research interests include the responses of literature and culture to contemporary social discrimination, the relationship between power and the masses, and the role of art in social integration and in the elimination of social prejudices.
