Abstract

Service–based organizations are increasingly transforming towards an experience– based economy, as a key element of the employee experience (EX). While the study of employee experience is still a relatively new research area in human resource management, there is a growing demand from experts for a deeper understanding and research in this area, based on the published international literature. Few studies have produced validated scales for a comprehensive and reliable measurement of employee experience. The most common way to measure EX is through questionnaires, composed of different – previously validated – questionnaires and mostly based on employee satisfaction questionnaires.
