Bring Your Ideas to Life! – Digital Playground in the Library

Abstract

The "Bring Your Ideas to Life!" project by the Somogyi Library supports the development of digital and reading comprehension skills among young people in an innovative way. The program integrates the analysis of literary works with digital activities, connecting reading through building robots and using digital tools.

The project presents several challenges for libraries due to the rapidly changing technological environment: financing the expansion of equipment, training professionals, and monitoring and improving the program's effectiveness.

Digital opportunities also offer new pathways. The integration of new technologies is crucial for libraries to keep up with the demands of the digital age and to ensure the provision of relevant services.
