Abstract
The cyanide pollution on the Tisa river was one more country affected environmental disaster in the area. The concentration of a deadly toxic substance closely exceeds 180 times the permissible limit, so great on the biota. The most severe damage is the living world were generated, where the 40 km long cyanide splash was two weeks long, while the disaster went down. Since the Chernobyl nuclear disaster the cyanide disaster was called the maximum environmental disaster of the years.
