Absztrakt
The question of knowledge-management has become a highlighted issue in these days in the companies’ everyday life. The active fulfilment, preservation and sharing of knowledge is necessary in the management practice of any modern and competitive companies. Knowledge-sharing is probably the most controversial issue, which can happen differently at different companies, thus among others it may happen in the form of mentoring. Although there are ancient records about this practice, the solution of this two-sided process of knowledge-sharing still remains a question at modern businesses. A research based on in-depth interviews with Hungarian big enterprises has been carried out this year in order to answer the above question. The main aim of the research was to reveal such ambitions of certain companies operating in Hungary and also to get to know their Hungarian specifications. Although the research is not representative, it is able to give a realistic view about mentoring protocol at Hungarian big enterprises. The result of the research shows that mentoring practice does not operate in synergy in the majority of the interviewed companies or it is not at all in connection with the knowledge management system. However, based on the opinion of the respondents it did not significantly influence the judgement of the mentoring system and its efficiency.
