Absztrakt

The aim if this essay is the analyzation of the industrial areas of the Hungarian Danube-valley. In this essay I divide the studied area into two parts: One will be the whole area of the Danube-valley - including the settlements in the neighbourhood the other narrower area will be the Hungarian settlements of the Lathe of Komárom. The analysis tries to introduce those industrial elements of the landscape in which the developement of the river played an important role. The analysis will tries to introduce those industrial elements in the landscape, which is in development river played an important role. Industry as the sector shaping the environment (the most) has the most important impact not only on the water but also on the river surrounding landscape. Mapping and analyzing the probable environmental conflicts and degraded areas is a pressing challenge of the Hungarian landscape geography and other sciences dealing with landscape. The Danube and its catchment area run across such Hungarian areas and settlements which are highly influenced by industry and so environmentally polluted. On these areas feasible and sustainable landscape management would be especially important while further development of industry would result irreversible and harmful effects.
