Absztrakt
This paper based on primer research on the field of applied economics. The author examined the income of the wheat production in extensive, semi-intensive and intensive technology. Three farms were chosen of sixteen farms by the author. The chosen farms produce the wheat in similar soil and weather condition, thus cost, income data of these farm are comparable. The differences of the cost of the wheat production were significant between the extensive and the intensive technology. This significant different was caused by the higher level of the machinery and the material cost. In case of the extensive technology, the income of the wheat production was lesser than in case of another two scenarios. If we take a closer look at the income of the wheat production in semi-intensive and intensive technology then we can claim that the best solution depends on wheat prices. In case of 45 000 HUF/tonne the income of the production is similar in semi-intensive and intensive technology. If the wheat price is 65 000 HUF/tonne, then the intensive technology is the better from aspects of the profitability.
